Do you have unwanted jewelry, coins, silverware, etc.? Aaron Ratkovich, a certified numismatist, will appraise your valuables for free and help you turn in your unwanted items for money.

Des Plaines History Center presents: “You Will Like Des Plaines”

Philip Mohr is currently the curator at the Des Plaines History Center. He has compiled information  from records held at the museum and elsewhere to create a stimulating presentation. The slideshow starts in the early 1800s and runs through the recent past, including information about Potawatomie people, the Des Plaines River, early settlers, railroads, local industry, and suburban development.
