Every month, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) publish their Nursing Home ratings based on multiple factors. It rates a wide variety of metrics that make a successful nursing home based on a 5 star system.
In the month of October, Generations at Oakton was able to maintain a 4 star rating. This has been a sustained rating for the past 8 months and we wish to continue that quality of care through the end of the year.
Staffing is a very important subject when determining what makes a good nursing home. Without proper number of staffing, staff and residents are spread too thin amongst each other. A devastating reality in some nursing homes, the proper quality of care cannot be executed. Here at Generations at Oakton, not only do we keep an adequate number of staff readily available at all times, but we only take on talent that is passionate about what they do, and treat every resident with dignity and respect.
