In recognition of National Cardiac Rehabilitation Week we announce our new rehab program designed for individuals with cardiac conditions. Generations at Oakton Pavillion announces the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program led by an excellent team of professionals including Dr. C. Dean Katsamakis. Dr. Katsamakis is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology with advanced training in Diagnostic Cardiovascular Imaging and is Board Certified by the Certifying Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC). Additionally, he is trained to deal with all aspects of Interventional Cardiology including angioplasty and stenting of the heart, legs, and carotid arteries.
The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Generations at Oakton Pavillion is specifically designed for individuals with cardiac conditions to successfully transition home. The program focuses on:
*Acute or Chronic Heart Failure
*Coronary Artery Disease
*Vascular Heart Disease
*Heart Rhythm Disorders
*Congenital Heart Defects
The program’s capabilities include: IV Lasik, Holter monitoring, Venous and Arterial Doppler, EKG and chest x-ray services. In addition to consultations with Dr. Katsamakis, our onsite Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with primary physicians. The program supports families and patients with discharge planning and education about cardiac conditions. The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Generations at Oakton Pavillion has been designed to improve the quality of life for people that have heart, lung, and vascular disease.
